Canada 150

As John Lennon has said “A dream you dream alone is only a DREAM, a dream you dream together is REALITY”.

Canada is a second home to more than 300,000.00 Afghans who fled Afghans and are now only living in peace but also on their way of fulfilling their dreams. As a way to show our appreciation to Canada and with Canada turning 150 years-old, CWB made a propsosal to the Canadian Parliament to allow us to fly the Canadian flag to Afghanistan, have it signed by 150 Afghan children and have it flown over Peace Tower. On May 2, 2017, CWB was the proud recipient of the flag. The flag was flown to Kabul, Afghanistan on May 13, 2017. On June 12, 2017, 150 young Afghan children attended Kaateb University to sign the flag. The flag was signed and brought back to Canada on June 22, 2017. The flag was then handed back to the Flag Master on June 29, 2017. The flag was raised over Peace Tower on July 4, 2017 in honor of all the Afghan Children. To celebrate this victory, CWB had arranged charity concerts in Ottawa on June 30, 2017 where delegates attended the event such as, Jim Watson, Mayor of Ottawa, H.E. Shinkai Karokhail, Ambassador, Mr. Nader Yama, Afghan Embassy, Mr. Aziz Amiri, President of CABC and many more.
